Is your department prepared to respond?

Rescue operations in a grain storage facility present a unique set of hazards that many Fire Departments are not trained or equipped to handle.  They require specialized training and equipment in the following areas:

  • Confined space entry
  • High angle rescue
  • Rope rescue
  • Use of ResQue tubes
  • Knowledge of the hazards of flowing grains
  • Knowledge of grain bin construction

SATRA specialize in on-site safety and rescue training and equipment for grain handling and storage facilities.  Our training programs are designed to allow you to meet NFPA and OSHA standards and to keep your members safe.
